Smoke filters through the showerhead percoaltor, before flowing up through two tubes into the inverted beaker-shaped smoke chamber near the mouthpiece. The two orbs have colorful glycerin encapsulated inside, which allows you to stick the piece in the fridge for a couple hours to increase cooling power. A recycling tube snakes down into the main chamber, drawing down air and water to thoroughly filter before you inhale.
